As part of my MSc in Football Communications and Digital Marketing at UCFB, I completed the Multimedia Football Journalism module. The first assignment required us to identify a news story, conduct an interview, and write an article based on it. I chose to focus on the turbulent history of the club I support, Livingston FC, and secured an interview with former player and manager Gary Bollan. He provided valuable insight into what it was like to manage the club during such a challenging period. You can read the full article below.
The second assignment was a group project where we created a website around a chosen sporting topic. Our site included multiple blog-style posts, a podcast series, and a fully managed Instagram account. We decided to focus on the upcoming and controversial Club World Cup competition.

Alongside the written content, I also produced and edited a short video exploring the lack of rest footballers would face as a result of the Club World Cup schedule. This video was also separated into several short-form videos, which were gradually released onto Instagram.
I also produced two podcast episodes for the project, which are available on Spotify and can be accessed below.
Lastly, I managed the project’s Instagram account, creating a range of content using Adobe Photoshop and Canva. Examples of this work can be viewed below.
