During my BSc (Hons) in Digital Media and Interaction Design Global at Edinburgh Napier University, I undertook my final honours project exploring how Augmented Reality (AR) could be used to promote ice hockey to Generation Z in the UK. The project combined a 15,000-word dissertation with the development of a working prototype, which I showcased at my degree show. The project was awarded a grade of 76.5% (A).
This showreel was produced to demonstrate the prototype and formed part of my degree show presentation. I also shared it with an industry professional, who was highly supportive of the concept and highlighted its potential to boost youth engagement, which they felt was particularly lacking in UK ice hockey. Alongside this video the following poster was also created.
